The tolling of the bells on Tuesday, mournfully proclaimed the death of Mr Henry Hunt who died on Monday night at 11 O Clock at his residence, Lawsons Creek after a Li guarding illness. He was age 77.The deceased had taken an active part at his farm & dairy at the creek, but when the internal disease gripped him he was compelled to retire and his son Walter was instilled in his place. Only 3 years ago he and his wife celebrated their Golden wedding at the old homestead. The deceased was one of the oldest residents of the area, where he came as a boy from Somersett, England. He had kept a hotel at Wilbertree and when he relinquished the hotel business he took up farming. His good old wife is a sister of Mrs Pateman of Church Street.
