Mrs Emma Doble , pioneer of the Mudgee district died Monday last , age 72 and resided with her son at Mullamuddy. She was the daughter of Henry Hunt one of the early settlers of Lawsons Creek. Heart trouble manifested itself about 5 weeks ago , she was conveyed to private hospital in Mudgee. Her husband predeceased her by about 18 years.
Survived by sons James- Arthur - Leslie- Walter- Ernest.

Emma was born in Parramatta in 1856.
Her parents were Henry William Hunt and Mary Ann Smith.[1][2]
