Margaret Polly Huntley was born on June 25, 1811 at Bastard Township, Leeds, Ontario, Canada. Margaret is the daughter of Benjamin Huntley and Mary Whitley.

Margaret marries Cyrus Spencer, son of Daniel Spencer and Maria Spencer, on January 2, 1828 in Perth, Lanark, Ontario, Canada. Cyrus Spencer was born on March 7, 1805 in Chatham County, York Town, Upper Canada. Cyrus is the child of Daniel Spencer and Maria Spencer.

Cyrus dies November 21, 1858 at Dryden, Lapeer, Michigan. Margaret dies on April 17, 1870 at Imlay City, Lapeer, Michigan.
