Note N56Adeline Hurd is listed as a child of Daniel Hurd, Jr. and Lucinda Hamilton in Martha Gray Prichett's research material. She is not named as a surviving child (c. 1840) in the Daniel Hurd pension file. We know from Tinmouth Congregational Church records that she was admitted to membership "by profession" on October 7, 1821, having been "previously baptized." (pages 12, 13). On page 29 of the record it states that on July 31, 1819, 3 children of Daniel Hurd were baptized: Adeline, Alta and Daniel. In October of 1823 Adaline married Captain Eli Bingham of Spencer, Ohio (page 241), apparently the widower of her older sister Sally. And, in 1823 Adaline removed to Spencer, Ohio, with a letter of recommendation to the church there.
