Sgt. Benjamin Hurd, the son of John Hurd was born 16 February 1666 at Stratford and died 21 May 1754 at Woodbury.[1] Benjamin married Sarah Kimberly before 1691.[2]
"Benjamin Hurd when a young lad probably moved with his parents from Stratford to Woodbury, where he lived the rest of his life. His marriage may have occurred there, probably about 1690.... [His] children are all recorded as born or baptised in Woodbury. He was a prominent citizen of Woodbury, and owned much land there." Benjamin and Sarah had the following children:[3]
