DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Byron by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Byron:

Hurd-652 and Hurd-61 appear to represent the same person because: Sources added. From death source, death was on 15 Jan 1932. Thanks for reviewing.

Hurd-652 and Hurd-61 do not represent the same person because: There is not enough information to decide now. If more research reveals these profiles represent the same man, I will resubmit the match.
Hi Cathryn, it does look suspiciously like the same man, but it is one of those frustrating ones where there is just not quite enough of a bit of overlapping data to prove it.

Mine died Date: 13 Jan 1932 Place: Muscatine, Iowa

Yours has no death, and children born in Decatur Co., Iowa, and 1900 census Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., Iowa,.

Muscatine is a city in Muscatine County, Iowa,l which is on the Illinois border.

Decatur is far southwest, on the Missouri border.

Black Hawk is to the far north. So no help there, these folks were all over the state.

Can you narrow down the death, or marriage locations? I would hate to get it wrong, because undoing a bad merge is not possible.
