Benjamin was born in 1749 in Charlestown. [1] Benjamin was driven from Charlestown by the British, June, 1775, and returned, 1788. [2] He married Mary Stearns and together they had Hannah, b 12 Jul 1781,Twins, (1st) John and Isaac b 15 May 1783, Nabby, b 21 Apr 1787, (2nd) John b 30 Mar 1789, Harriot, b 16 Nov 1791, Abigail, b 14 Nov 1793, and Josiah Stearns, b 14 Mar 1796.
