Hi Peter! :)

I ve send you al long message a few days ago to thank you -I think in maybe half English/Dutch :D About we re not related (yet!!!), we will be soon! -WikiTree goal - but as said I m taking care of Dutch profiles without sources as member of the Dutch_Roots.

We will all be related in some time at WikiTree. :)

I hope I did not make too many language and spelling mistakes. Feel free to correct me or ask for more info if I was not clear. I don t mind. I will always think my English is better than your Dutch!

Thank you lots to make it possible so fast for me, to add reliable info with sources at many van Malsen's and Wijnstekers and correct their LNAB according to the Dutch Name Convention at WIkiTree. In the Netherlands inserts are never written with an capital. So a "Van"anything is always wrong at the Netherlands. It is the "American" way of spelling and it might even be put together. Like: Dutch van Malsen will be in the USA/Canada: Van Malsen or even Vanmalsen or VanMalsen. :D

WikiTree's main goal is to add profiles with reliable sources. Accessible for everyone. Links to pages like Ancestry might be great but not accessible for all (needing to pay for a membership to get to the links, besides many info at Ancestry might be right but not sourced and many times just copies of copies on the internet).

I just can hope you and Dan like the info I added as they are the best that can be added to real dates and info.

I used the WikiTree relation finder tool, and I am sorry we re not related YET. But soon we will be far cousins. :)

Using the Error Report tool I came across more GedCom profiles - uploaded profiles tonight - without sources, profiles you re related to. I don t remember by whom they were uploaded, but I think Dan is the profile manager, so it might be him. Not important who. I didn't check your (only few) nor Dan’s contributions yet.................. But :D I don t know yet but I am sure I will find sooooo many more unsourced profiles :D I didn t click on your or Dan's contributions yet.............. If I do I might find so many more GedCom profiles uploaded unsourced.............

To be strict............ Ask for help how and what to do at WikiTree, didn't you both abide the Honor Code] at WikiTree??????? So stay to that please. If you can’t abide I feel I should report to the WIkiTree leaders about uploading so many unsourced profiles - and I do not even know how many yet. I will check.........

I A M sorry. Again we’re facing so many unsourced uploaded profiles we have to solve.............. We have some of you and Dan to look after and add reliable sources. Please help us. All I ask.

Peter I would love your help to get reliable sources to pages that were uploaded here. We’re facing thousands of uploaded profiles by GedCom without sources and managers uploading (thank G WikiTree is restricting)----- then leaving after uploading......... Uploading and then leaving without sourcing using lots of our free time!

Peter please if you need help to find reliable sources or how to make good links there let me know. I love to help you. I had lots of help. Needed to ask for months! :) WikiTree can be a jungle instead of just a big tree!

Again don t take me wrong we love everyone that adds to WikiTree - you re here since........? October 2014. You added/made 37 contributions!!! That is great!! Thank you, as everyone is welcome and adds are appreciated. You made 10 contributions a year! Thank you so much Peter!

Again don t feel wrong, I m offering help. I am not judging anyone. We all have real live things.

Happy Treeing Peet! Just hoping you will WIkiTree a little more! :)

Cheers!!!

A.

Hi again Peter

Have a look at How to use WikiTree for how it all works. That page has links to a lot of helpful information.

Happy WikiTreeing,

Hi Peter,

Thanks for volunteering to help grow our one world tree.

Please drop into our friendly Genealogist to Genealogist (G2G) forum to introduce yourself to other WikiTreers - you can access the G2G by selecting G2G Profile from your My WikiTree menu at the top right of most pages.

WikiTree can be a bit overwhelming at first, so don't hesitate to post your questions in the G2G.

Good luck with connecting your leaves and branches to our big tree,

Maryann
