Elizabeth was born in 1814. She married James Riley McBee in Stark County, Ohio. Their first three children were born in Ohio. They moved to Ray County, Missouri, with James' extended family in about 1837. James died when the youngest child, David, was only about 5 years old, leaving Elizabeth to raise the seven children still at home on her own. She passed away in 1893.
