I sent you an email about the Source-a-Thon question. I'm putting the link here to the RootsSearch help page in case you want to try using that.

I hope you are saving the date (4 Oct - 7 Oct 2019) for the annual Source-a-Thon. Registration is now open. Head to the G2G for the registration post. I'm really excited as this is my favorite Thon. I hope that you are joining us in the fun again!

I took a look at your Hutcherson line & found the line back a few more generations. The wills were the key.
Once you complete the merge of William you will have the line connected to your family. Go ahead & adopt the profiles.
Starting a One Name Study, combining traditional genealogical research & DNA comparison of currently unrelated lines of Hutchersons, is a great way to approach your study.
Comparing Y DNA would help you find a common male progenitor & Autosomal DNA testing (which is what Ancestry offers) will help you find cousins & possibly your male progenitor (by that, I mean a grandfather that precedes Mordecai Hutcherson.
The ONS project page lists a great ONS study that compares DNA from various lines.
I replied to your question on Private Simmons.

Thank you for adding to our collective family tree.
I see that you have added and edited quite a few people today, without adding sources. Some of those people were born before 1700. Please be sure to add quality sources as you create/edit profiles. Here is a link to information about pre-1700 profiles: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pre-1700_Profiles These older ancestors have hundreds or thousands of descendants who would appreciate being able to see the source information for themselves.
Have a great day,

I haven't been putting the Unsourced template or category on profiles. It happens automatically when you enter a profile without sources, or someone else may have done it. I have been editing the Unsourced category to indicate what country, county, province or state was indicated in the profile. That just makes it easier or anyone with info to find a profile.
My advice would be to add your sources as you go, even if it takes longer for each individual. It is much easier to do it when you create a profile than to remember to go back and do it later. I know when I started (too many years ago), I thought everything was fact and I didn't add any sources. Boy, was that a mistake. I still have lots of work to do adding sources. Vic
