Biography

Daniel Hitchins, son of Daniel, was born in England about 1632. His father is proved by the will of Samuel Hitchings, who names his brother, Daniel's sons, Joseph and Daniel, now living near Boston, in his will.^[1][2]

Daniel married first Eleanor _____. He came to Lynn where he was a freeman in 1691. Eleanor died Sept 10, 1694 and he married second, Sarah _____. In an affidavit in April 1722, he testified that he was 90 years old. Administration of his estate was granted to his son, Daniel, June 4, 1731.^[1]

A different Daniel in Bermuda/Virginia married to an Eleanor also.

Various sources mention a Danyell Huchens/Daniel Hitchings/ Daniel Hutchins/Daniel Huchin/Daniel Huchins born in 1632. Some of these also mention a wife named Eleanor/Ellenor/Eliner. It is likely that some or perhaps all of these refer to Hutchins-2008. ^[3]
