In his father's will there is reference to Samuel and his brother, Jonathan Hutchinson (1639-1689) receiving some money (£50 a piece), and £100 if they are 'free of statute and troubles'. I am not sure what this refers to but the condition implies they may have acted in a way that didn't please Richard? [4][5]
Research Notes
Married or unmarried? He was 'of Boston,' Massachusetts and died unmarried in 1667. [6] Is that this Samuel or his uncle b 1590?
This information was ascribed to Samuel initially, but I think it relates to another Samuel, as the NEHGR reference to his death unmarried in 1667 is probably very reliable: He married Anne and they had a son Thomas, christened in St Lawrence Jewry and St Mary Magdalene's, Milk Street on 4 April 1679, [7] Robert baptised in 1680 [8]another son, Charles christened on 5 November 1682.
