Sarah Hutchens/Hutchins may have been a birthright Quaker. A Sarah Hutchens, born August 3, 1872, appears on page 785 of the Deep Creek Monthly Meeting Minutes. She was the daughter of Nicholas Hobson and Sarah and she married Silas Hobson on September 9, 1802. Their marriage was recorded at the Deep Creek Monthly Meeting. Between the time of her marriage to Silas and her death in 1808, Sarah gave birth to three children: Nicholas, b. 1803; James, b 1804; and Sarah 1805. Her death was recorded at the Deep Creek Monthly Meeting.
