Lots of sites show Agnes as the daughter of John Holmes. H.G. Somerby is known to have created fraudulent pedigrees. See: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Horatio_Gates_Somerby_Fraud. The only known wife of John Lawrence is Agnes Vanderbecke, whose marriage record exists. The marriage record of Agnes and John Lawrence identify her as Agnes Vanderbecke.^[2]
