Biography

William HUTCHINSON ^[1]was born in May 1832 in Ontario, Canada.^[2]

Living in Sarnia at the time of 1881 census with wife Isabella, children Mary 17, Joseph 13 and Edward 8, plus mother in law Jane Voller.^[3]

He passed away in 1912, aged 80, six months. White male, who worked as a farmer.^[4]

Conflicting parents

Death certificate indicates his fathers name is George, born in England. Sources for William unknown. Could he actually be the child of his uncle George, d June 1832.

There is another William HUTCHINSON who died in Sarnia 1910. Parents John Hutchinson and Mary Willis. States born in England 27 Aug 1820.^[5]

There is an 1871 Canadian census record that could be them living in Chatham Kent Ontario. William 35, Isabella 28, William 6, Sofiah 2. All born in England, but daughter Mary is not there. ^[6]
