Biography

In the 1851 England Census John Hutchinson 33 born abt 1818 in Allendale, Northumberland, England, joiner journeyman, was head of his household in Stanhope, Durham. Other Household Members were his wife Jane Hutchinson 31 Nenthead, Cumberland, and their children James Hutchinson 10 Garrigill, Ralph Hutchinson 7 Garrigill, Isabella Hutchinson 4 Garrigill, and Thomas Hutchinson 2 Stanhope. [1]

In the 1861 Census of Canada John Hutchinson 44 carpenter, his wife Jane 42, and children James 21, Ralph Hutchinson 18, Isabella 15, Thomas 13, Joseph 7, and John 5, all born in England, lived in Sinicol st, west side, Toronto, York, Canada West. [2]
