Biography

Thomas Seldon Hutton was born September 30, 1856, the son of William Dixon Hutton and Nancy Jane Clark.

He married Sarah R "Sadie" Ottinger (1860 - 1946) on August 14, 1879 in Greene County, Tennessee. ^[1]

Children were:

David Alonzo Hutton (1880 - 1946^[2])

The 1900 U.S. Census lists Thomas at the age of 44 with his wife Sadie and son David living on a rented farm in Civil District 5 of Greene County, Tennessee. ^[3]

In the 1910 and 1920 U.S. Census, Thomas and Sadie are now shown living on their own farm in District 5 of Greene County, Tennessee. ^[4][5]

Thomas passed away September 25, 1944 and was buried the following day at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greeneville, Greene County, Tennessee. ^[6][7]
