The 1900 U.S. Census lists Thomas at the age of 44 with his wife Sadie and son David living on a rented farm in Civil District 5 of Greene County, Tennessee. [3]
In the 1910 and 1920 U.S. Census, Thomas and Sadie are now shown living on their own farm in District 5 of Greene County, Tennessee. [4][5]
Thomas passed away September 25, 1944 and was buried the following day at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greeneville, Greene County, Tennessee. [6][7]
