Biography

Edward was born in 1804 in Virginia. He was the son of Edward Hutton and Frances Ella Hayter.

He married Nancy Smith on 19 Feb 1824 in Washington county, Virginia.^[1] They had five known children.

They moved to Parke county, Indiana by 1840.^[2]

They were in Washington, Parke, Indiana in 1850.^[3]

Nancy passed away in January 1870. After her death, Edward went to live with daughter Mary Jane (Hutton) Weatherford in Parke, Indiana (1870 census).^[4]

Edward married Sophia Ferguson on 15 May 1873 in Parke, Indiana.^[5]

They were in Washington, Parke, Indiana in 1880.^[6]

Edward passed away in 1893 in Washington, Parke county, Indiana.^[7]
