Hellen Hislop was born on 23 March 1731 in Bilstane (Bilston) in the parish of Lasswade in the county of Midlothian in Scotland. She was baptised on 02 April 1731 with witnesses James Pentland and Duncan Grame there (Bilstane). [1]
