Biography
The profile for 'Abd Allah or Abdallah bin Muhammad was examined in the July 2019 C-a-T because the subject is the base for connecting several new profiles that are being added in the Connect-a-Thon.
Note that Abd Allah's full name was Abū Muḥammad ‘Abd Allāh bin Muhammad bin ‘Abd al-Rahman bin al-Hakam bin Hisam bin ‘Abd al-Rahman bin Mu'awiya bin Hisam bin Abd al-Malik bin Marwan bin Al-Hakam bin Abi al-'As bin Umayya. He was the son of Muhammad I, the fifth Omeya Emir of Córdoba, [1] and the brother of the sixth, Al-Mundir I who died unexpectedly, after less than two years in power, and whom he may have had assassinated. Al-Mundir's mother was a Berber named Atl, [2] while Abd Allah's was the concubine ‛Aššār, or Ashar. Their father's full name was Abu l-Mundir Muhammad bin ‘Abd al-Rahman bin al-Hakam bin Hisam bin ‘Abd al-Rahman bin Mu'awiya bin Hisam bin Abd al-Malik bin Marwan bin Al-Hakam bin Abi al-'As bin Umayya. [3] 'Abd Allah was born in 0844 and died on 15 Oct 0912, both events in Córdoba, Al-Ándalus, in the present-day Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain. He reigned during the period 0888-0912 for 24 years as the seventh Emir of Córdoba. [1]

'Abd Allah appeared originally in WikiTree as the husband of Ónneca Fortúnez and the father of Zayd ibn Abdallah. Documents were not located for Zayd, but he has been left, as is, connected to his father. However, he has been unlinked from Ónneca. The information found for her indicates that he was NOT one of her children, either with 'Abd Allah or her second husband, Aznar Sánchez de Laraún.
