Biography

The baptism record for Gran, Oppland says that Andrine was born in at Klefstad-eie, Gran 5 Mar and christened in Gran 18 Apr 1878 to Frederik Ingebretson and Christine Haga.^[1] However, her grave marker has a birth date of Jan. 15, 1879 (see below). Since she definetly was christened 18 Apr 1878, it is POSSIBLE that she was born 15 Jan 1878.

The emigration record says that she and her siblings had emigrated 1879 with certification of their baptisms dated 3 May 1880^[2] (#53-57)

Upon immigration the family took Ingebretson as surname

By late 1880, the family had moved to Otter Tail County, Minnesota.^[3]

She married Oscar Honrud. In 1930, they were living In Otter Tail County, Minnesota.^[4] The couple was still there in 1940.^[5]

Andrine passed away in 1962. Burial was in the Hamar Cemetery in Rothsay, Otter Tail County, Minnesota.^[6] Her grave marker has a birth date of Jan. 15, 1879, but that is not the date (05 Mar 1878) that is recorded on her birth record from Norway.
