Katherine was baptized on 22 June 1626 in St. Michael le Belfrey Church, York, East Riding, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of Arthur Ingram and Catherine (Fairfax) Wickham.
Katherine married Sir Christopher Neville of Aubourn, Lincolnshire. [1] She was his second wife. His first wife, also called Katherine, died in 1658.[2][3][4]
Katherine died on 4 April 1715 [4] and was buried at Aubourn, Lincolnshire, on 6 April 1715 "The Lady Nevil bur'd." She left a will, written 20 Nov 20 1714, proved 20 April 1715: [1] Katherine Nevill of Auber wid. To my dear husband's heir Mr. Gervas Nevill, my husband's first wife's picture and the Judge's picture. Nephew King of Ashby my gold coronation piece. To niece Frances Fairfax my dear mother's picture set in gold ; also my father Wickham's, and my sister Stapleton's Nieces Spencer, Ingram, and Danby. Cousin Eliz. Hatfield. Sister Ellyn my husband's picture ; and to her grandson Christopher Nevill a ring, &c Nieces Ashton, King. Cousin Nevill's son Geo. Nevill. Cousins Humes Sherrard, &c. Res. to friend Mr. Ashton of Ashby, exor. Proved 17 15. [5]
