Eiza was born in 1824 in South Carolina and was a daughter of William Jasper Ingram and Sarah Ella Bryant. Eliza's parents migrated to Montgomery County Alabama[1] in the 1830's having followed the path of his father, Samuel Ingram.
Eliza met and married Joseph Hill on 20 July 1843 in Montgomery County Alabama[2] and afterwards move to Chambers County Alabama[3] and Smith County Texas.[4]They became the parents of the following known children:
