Wilma J. Rodgers, 82, of Olney, died Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.
Funeral services in the chapel of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Bob Totten officiating. Burial in Graceland Cemetery in Albion.
Wilma was born August 28, 1931, in Newton, the daughter of Clifton Inman and Elsie (Mason) Inman. She married Ed Rodgers, who preceded her in death. Her companion of 30 years, Roy Rodgers, also preceded her in death.
She worked as a waitress for many years and also worked at the Joliet Arsenal. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Olney, Olney Eagles Club, and American Legion. She enjoyed working on her genealogy with her sister, as well as gardening and canning and taking care of her flowers. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Wilma is survived by her three sisters, Shirley Farrand, of Florida, Goldie McCreary and her husband Will, of Albion, and Pat Barnett, of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Elsie Inman; husband, Ed Rodgers; companion, Roy Rodgers; brother, Victor Inman; nephew, Larry Pressley; and two nieces, Rita Smith and Crystal Pressley.
