In the Ireland pedigree in the Visitation of Shropshire[1] she was recorded as Gwenhiver Ireland, daughter of Thomas Ireland and Mabill, daughter of Howell ap Morris Kuffin.
She was also noted In the Owen pedigree in the Visitation of Shropshire[2] as the third daughter of Thomas Ireland of Oswestry. This Pedigree indicates that she was the second wife of Owen ap Gruffith, son of Gruffith ap Madock. They had a son Richard Owen of Shropshire.
