Also, two servants, Mary Long, 22; and Catherine Henry, 50.[1]
In 1895, the Irwins, a Presbyterian family, lived in Keokuk, Lee. Iowa. The household included Jno (John) N. Irwin, 48, born in Ohio, a dry goods merchant; his wife, Mary, 42, born in Lee County, Iowa; their children, all born in Lee County, Alice, 22; Elizabeth, 20; and Jack, 11. Also living with them were Ellen Gustafson, 26, widowed, a servant; and her son, Henry, 6.[2]
Alice White (Irwin) Kendrick is buried with her husband, her parents, four siblings, and other family at Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, Iowa.[3]
