Sources

Douglas Richardson, "Royal Ancestry", 2013, Vol. 5 p. 39 gives his marriage as occurring between June 1342 and before 1345 and quotes a contemporary Exchequer Roll stating the names of him and his wife, sister of King David.

James Balfour Paul, "Scots Peerage" Vol. 1, p. 8 lists him as spouse of Matilda Bruce, daughter of King Robert I.
