By this census, Henry and Thomas were the only children in the home[7]Chipping Warden is a village in Northamptonshire, England about 6 miles (10 km) northeast of the Oxfordshire town of Banbury.
This census found the young family in Marton, Warwickshire. Henry was working as an agricultural carter.[11]
1871 Census
By this time the family had two sons and two daughters and were living in Birmingham. Henry was still working as a carter.[12]
1881 Census
The family had grown with two more sons. Henry was now a Cab & Van Proprietor. This census does not list Joseph. His death was recorded the last quarter of 1874. He was 5 years old.[13]
Harry Isham born 20 Mar 1876 in Birmingham, Warwick. Christened 22 Oct 1882.[19]
Henry died 11 January 1890. His will was probated 24 March 1890 in Warwickshire.[20] He was 55 years old.[21]
