Biography
Zena Sarah Isham was born about 1680 in Tipperary, Ireland. She may have been the daughter of Alexander Isham. A Sarah Isham was baptized on 25 October 1682 at St Botolph, Bishopsgate in the City of London.
She married Bryan Boru O'Bannon sometime around 1704 in Fauquier, Virginia.
Based on her husband’s will she was the mother of John O’Bannon, William O’Bannon, Samuel O’Bannon, Ann O’Bannon Miller and Elizabeth O’Bannon Ambrose.
Since she was mentioned in the will she must have died sometime after 1762 in Fauquier, Virginia, USA
Notes
The name "Zena Sarah Isham (or Isom)" has been offered as the name of the wife of Bryant, despite absolutely no record or proof of such a fact. Mrs. Elizabeth De Huff seems to be responsible for this information and no evidence of a 'Sarah' has been established. One reference suggests that Bryant's wife Sarah Isom was the daughter of a William Isom but offers no citations.
The name of "Isham or Isom" did not start appearing in the O'Bannon / O'Banion family until 1769 when , when John's (2) son John (3) (who married Lydia Duncan Stampe) named a newborn son "Isham." John (3) was a grandson, and Isham was a great grandson. of Bryant (1). Additional investigation is necessary to determine the actual name of Bryant O'Bannon's wife.

However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sarah:
Contrary to information provided in this profile, I find no reference to wife Sarah in Bryan O'Bannon's will. Perhaps then her death date estimate should be changed to after birth of last identified child. A note on Bryan "the immigrant" O'Bannon's profile says someone saw Sarah Isham's name as Bryan's wife written in a bible, since destroyed and with no known provenance. So it seems most factual to show Bryan's wife as Unknown at this time.
Isham-832 and Isham-358 appear to represent the same person because: same name, same spouse name (in process of merge), son William on both (in process of merge), similar birth year, same birth location, similar death year, same death location.
Samuel Pepper was a servant in the household of Bryant OBannon. He was aged 13 in 1737, and so was born about 1724.
In later years he married Elizabeth Holton and they had 10 children. Mary Pepper married Andrew Obannon; Elijah Pepper married Sarah Obannon, whose brother was John Obannon. Elijah & his brother-in-law built a distillery in Kentucky (which is now incorporated in the history of modern-day Woodford Reserve distillery). I believe all of these people surnamed Obannon are grandchildren of Bryant Obannon.
If anyone knows why Samuel Pepper was living in the Obannon household in 1737, please add it to Samuel Pepper's wiki site.
