Biography

IVERSEN, John On March 31, 2004, Mr. John Iversen of Abbotsford, B. C., formerly of Mallaig, passed away at the age of 97 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elver; three children, June (Hugh) Stephenson-Ross of Edmonton, Wayne (Mylss) of Mallaig and Rick (Darlene) of Vermilion; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Jack Owen of Edmonton. He was predeceased by his son, Freddie; daughter, Iris; his wife, Grace; son-in-law, Harry; his parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral Service Thursday, April 8 at 11: 00 a. m. at the Ashmont United Church, Ashmont. Reverend Adelina Pecchia officiating with interment in the Mallaig Baptist Church, Mallaig.
