Jöran Jönsson migrated from Sweden to New Sweden in 1654 aboard the Örnen.
Biography
Jöran Jönsson, a freeman, arrived in New Sweden on the Örnen (Eagle) in 1654. [1] Jöran's name appears among the "newly arrived freeman" when he signed the 1654 loyalty oath. [2] He was granted a land patent by the Dutch for a tract at Swanwyck, confirmed by the English in 1668.[1] Jöran's wife (probably his second) was named Carin; she married Hendrick Jansen Sybrants after Jöran's death. [1]
Jöran died before March 7, 1677 when guardians were named for his minor children.

"Jöran died before March 7, 1577 when guardians were named for his minor children" should actually say "Jöran died before March 7, 1677 when guardians were named for his minor children?"
