Notes
Note N44I found your John Peyton Jacks. When I was in my teens, my grandmother Nannie Eliza Jacques, daughter of Henry Clinton. sat me down with pen and paper and had me copy her genealogy records from her family Bible. She put them in an envelope & saved them until I married. She told me that her Grandpa Dr. Thomas Sondley Jacks changed the name to Jacques. She told me the came by wagon train to Troy Texas from Hope Arkansas when she was thee years old & remembered the trip.
