Biography

Elsie was born the daughter of Thomas Arthur Jackson and Louisa Ingham and was born on the 08 March 1892, in Hulme, Lancashire, England.^[1]

In the 1901 Census for England she, and her family are recorded at Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire, England.^[2]With her on the census were; her Father Thomas Arthur Jackson, aged 35; her mother Louisa Jackson, aged 31; she, aged 9; her sister Louisa Jackson, aged 11; Elizabeth, sister aged 7; and Thomas, younger brother aged 1.

In the "1911 Census for England" she listed as Elsie Jackson is listed in the household of her father Thomas Arthur Jackson. The family are recorded at 79, Clopton Street, Hulme, Lancashire, England. In the record she was said to be employed in a "Sweet works"^[3]With her on the Census were; her father, Thomas Arthur Jackson, aged 45; her mother Louisa, aged 41; she aged aged 19; her sister Louisa, aged 21; Elizabeth, sister aged 17; Thomas, brother aged 11, and Florrie, sister aged 5. (Florrie is an abbreviation of the name Florence).

She married Frederick Chadwick on 26 Mar 1921, in St Michaels Church, Hulme, Lancashire, England.^[4].

She died on the 15th August 1966, in Thameside Hospital and is buried in Dukinfield Cemetery, Lancashire, England.^[5]
