William Jackson was born in Hampshire, England.

William Henry Jackson, child of Joshua William Jackson and Fanny (Roberts) Jackson, was born on 8 Aug and baptised on 13 September 1863 in Eling, Hampshire, England.[1][2]

William's marriage was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1901 in the Southampton district.[3] He married Annie Sophia Lowman.[4]

William Henry Jackson married Eva Fanny Fielder on 24 December 1913 in The Parish Church, Northwood, Isle of Wight.[5][6]

William died on 25 January 1932 on the Isle of Wight, England.[7][8]

He was buried on 29 February 1932 in Northwood Cemetery, Cowes, Isle of Wight, England. [9]

In the 1881 census William (age 17) was on the vessel "Enterprize" at St Columb Cornwall, England. He was employed as a Ordinary Seaman.[11]

In the 1891 census William (age 27) was in Poole, Dorset, England.[12][13]

In the 1901 census William (age 37) was living in Joiners Arms (Tavern) , Southwick, Sussex, England. He was employed as a Mariner Merchant service.[14]

In the 1911 census William (age 47), 2nd Mate, was in Cowes, England.[15]

In the 1921 census William Jackson (age 57), Boatman Mariner Retired, was the married head of household in The White Cottage Phyllis Court Tring, New Street, The White Cottage, Phyllis Court Tring, New Street, Henley upon Thames, Oxfordshire, England.[16]
