In 1841 Joseph Jackson (age 25-29) lived at Dyke End Road in Huddersfield with his wife Martha (25-29), daughter Hannah (3), and son John (0).[2]
In 1851 Joseph Jackson (age 39, Saddler Employing 8 Men) lived at Thread Needle Street in Huddersfield with his wife Martha (39) and five children: Hannah (13, Scholar), John (10, Scholar), Sarah A (8, Scholar), Emma (4, Scholar), and Elizabeth (2), as well as servant Jonathan Marsden (17, Saddler's Servant).[3]
Joseph Jackson passed away in 1856, aged 45 years. His death was registered in Huddersfield in the third quarter of the year.[4]
