DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Grietie by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Grietie:
I have been sorting out and correcting the two totally different Schut, Schutt and Schott/Scott lineages, the Scot/Schott were duplicate lineages from Scottisch ancestors, this lineage seems to be a false lineage , maybe to connect them somehow to some more 'royal ancestors (so something similar like the Webbers Anneke Jans story ) ?
So now we have two sets of parents for Willem Janszen Schut as he was named in New Netherland:
1. Jan Schott) married to Marrijckien (Marrijchien) Jans in 1643 who had wrong parents . So now his parents are Unknown (added posts and info to the profiles) Also no baptism of a son named Willem Jans or emigration to New Netherland can be found for this couple (see info added to the profiles) This all was based on a construction that was a myth and impossible , see al profiles part of the Scott lineage.
2. Jan Willemsz Schut and Grietje Dircks with Dutch parents and from an earlier date . Jan Willemsz Schut was already in New Netherland in 1642 (witness at a baptism , see profile ) so it looks like the Jan Willemsz Schut and his wife Grietje Dircks are the more correct parents of Willem Jans Schut who married Grietje Jacobs .
Jacobs-2469 and Jacobs-97 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Thanks!
Jacobs-625 and Jacobs-97 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a mere into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. The deaths are either 1714 or after 1706, both might be correct. Thanks!
Jacobs-199 and Jacobs-97 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the new NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Thanks!
These are the same and can be merged thanks !
