Biography
Marie Louise Jacques was born on 15 Jan 1825 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce parish. She was the daughter of Charles Jacques, farmer, and his wife Marie Louise Poulin. Godparents at the infant Louise's baptism were her maternal grandfather Charles Jacques and her paternal grandmother Josephte Lagueux dite Charpentier. At age 23 Louise married Vital Maheu on 9 Jan 1849 in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce parish. There are records for 8 children: 3 sons and 5 daughters. Louise died at age 73 on 17 Jun 1898 in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce parish; she was buried in the parish cemetery on 19 Jun.
