Biography

Patsey was born about 1800. She is the daughter of Thomas James and Elizabeth Matthews.[1] She married Elisha Parker on 27 September 1818 in Rhea County, TN.[2] She is assumed to be the white female, age 30-39, in the 1840 Census listing for Elisha Payne in Hamilton County, Tennessee. [3]

James-12951 and James-420 appear to represent the same person because: These two women both married Elisha Payne in Rhea County, Tennessee. The marriage dates on the two profiles are different by exactly 10 years, so one probably has a typo which I will check.
