Born June 18, 1931, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late James W. H. and Hannah L. (Swartz) Jamieson. She played in the country western groups Sally Shearer and The Country Ramblers and Sally Shearer and The Sky Toppers. She was secretary for Western York County Democratic Club and volunteered her time singing at area nursing homes. Surviving also are four daughters, Carole J. Downing of Dover, Cheri E. Sanford of Silver Springs, Md., Barbara J. Spangler of Red Lion and Cindy L. Lippy of York; a son, James Gatling of Tampa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Gilbert Jamieson of Maitland, Fla., Ed Jamieson of Etters, Guy Jamieson of Riverside, Calif., and Dr. David Jamieson of Modesta, Calif.; and four sisters, Catherine Coe of Gettysburg, Harriet Laudenslager of New Cumberland, Clara Gatling of Welaka, Fla., and Jean Edwards of Dover. The service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with one of the pastors from Stillmeadow Church of Nazarene, York, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. A viewing will be held Thursday at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Preferred Choice Hospice, 2159 White St., York, Pa. 17404 Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
