Biography
John, son of George Jamieson & Isobel Johnston, was born on 9 May 1849 and baptised on 17 June 1849 at Free Church, Inverurie, Aberdeen, Scotland.[1]
In the 1851 census John (age 1) was the son of Geor Jamison in Boroughmuir, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.[2]
In the 1861 census John (age 11), Employed At Home, was the son of George Jamieson in Burghmuir, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.[3]
John's marriage to Elizabeth Alcock was registered in 1879 in the Kintore district.[4]
In the 1881 census John (age 31), Agri; Lanr, was the head of household in Boghead, Kintore, Aberdeenshire.[5]
In the 1891 census John (age 41), Farm Serv, was the servant of Thomas L Warrack in Logie, Fintray, Aberdeenshire.[6]
In the 1901 census John (age 51), Cattleman On Farm, was the head of household in Kinnernie Cottage, Cluny, Aberdeenshire.[7]
