Biography
William Jamieson was baptised on 26 October 1800 in the parish of Barony, Lanarkshire. He was the son of John Jamieson and Janet Harvey[1][2]
William married Ann Brown on 5 October 1855 in Cambuslang, Lanarkshire.[3]
William and Ann lived at Kirkhill, Cambuslang where William worked as a freestone quarrier.[2]
William died on 13 Dec 1874 in Cambuslang, Lanarkshire aged 74. At that point his mother's maiden surname was given as "Harvey"[4]
