The Life & Times Of Henry Ware by Mary Ware Anderson "Henry Ware, ninth son of Thomas Ware and his first wife, Sarah Jemison, was born July 29, 1813, in Greene County, Georgia. His great grandfather, Captain Henry Ware was Tax Collector and Captain of the Militia in Caroline County, Virginia, and later Captain under Elijah Clark: also a member of Georgia's First Constitutional Convention, and Justice of the Peace in Wilkes (Lincoln) County, Georgia.
