Biography

Ida A Janney was born on 14 Feb 1879 in Indiana, the daughter of Jefferson and Christina (Myers/Miers) Janney. ^[1]

She married Richard A Brown on 6 Oct 1897 in Delaware County, Indiana. ^[2]

She died on 20 May 1968 in Muncie, Delaware Indiana ^[1] and was buried at Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie, Delaware, Indiana. ^[3]

Research Notes

• Have not found source of middle name Arvestine on familysearch.org or ancestry.com. Marriage license record and death certificate both use the middle initial A. Some of her children's birth records have middle initial A, and some have none. FindAGrave uses this middle name, but it does not appear on her gravestone (Ida A Brown) and they don't cite their source. It also appears in some Ancestry family trees, but those trees don't have a source other than FindAGrave with this middle name.
