It is not clear that Victor Antoine Janssen is truly the son of Jean Raparlier and Elizabeth Baudoin, or why he was set up that way in the matching profile. However, I am matching that parent relationship here, in order to facilliate the merge of these duplicate profiles and descendants. If and when better parents for Victor Antoine can be found later, his parent relationship can be adjusted at that time. Or on the other hand if support can be found to maintain the link to his Raparlier parents, it should be added to the profile, so that the parents are not removed or the names changed in error.

This profile appears to be part of the fraudulent genealogy described by John Blythe Dobson in “The fraudulent Coligny-Rapalje descent,” Annals of Genealogical Research Vol. 2, No.1 (2006) at http://www.genlit.org/agr/viewarticle.php?id=1
I believe the place of death should be New Angouleme, the name given the area in 1524 by Italian explorer Verranzo. I t was not until 1614 that the area became New Netherland.
If you agree, please change it. I cannot , no pre-1500 qualification.
It appears to me that Victor did indeed have two wives, one being the mother of Breckje, and the other the mother of Victor Honorius. However, the dates and the sequence is a bit muddled, and it is not yet clear which mother bore which child. We need to be a bit cautious sorting it out, because Victor Honorius married a child of his much older half-sister, Breckje. I think this relationship will become more clear as the older merges get completed.
