Agnes was born in 1881. She is the daughter of James Jardine and Agnes Bryce. Nancy was born at Cowgate Street, Kirkintilloch and her birth is registered on Family Search[1][2]
She lived most of her early life in Kirkintilloch. She was absent from the house during the 1901 Census and it is not clear where she was recorded. She was living at 30 East High St, Kirkintilloch prior to 1904 and married an Alexander Walker, a "retired" gold prospector at the Blythswood Hall in Glasgow on 28 December 1904.[3]
It is not clear what happened to her after that but likely she remained in the area. There is a photograph of her in uniform and she seems to have been a nurse during the First War, certainly appears in uniform of one and may have worked out of Woodilee Hospital at Lenzie although her sister was also known to have worked there.
She died at 17 Anfield Drive, Stirling on 25 July 1950. Her husband had pre-deceased her.
They had five sons, Duncan, James Jardine, Alexander, George and Robert Reid.[4]
