Capt William Jarman was born in 1748 in Albemarle County, Virginia, his father, Thomas Jarman, was 31 and his mother, Catherine Cave, was 28. He married Sarah Maupin in 1775 in Albemarle County, Virginia. The 1790 reconstructed census has William in Albermarle County Virginia where he built a home and Mill. William and Sarah had 11 children during their marriage. He died in 1813 in Albemarle County, Virginia, at the age of 65.

Jarman-145 and Jarman-47 appear to represent the same person because: Same name and same spouse is the best clue! Because there is no other data on Jarman-145. They are obviously meant to be the same person!
