Biography

Julia Anne Jarman was born on January 14, 1844, in Lawrence County, Alabama, the child of William Hardy and Tamar. Julia married David Washington Bradford on 19th August 1860 in Lawrence, Alabama when she was 16 years of age. During her marriage to David she had 2 sons John C Bradford, Federic N Bradford. Five years after Johns death Julia married William Sims Gray had two sons and one daughter; Fedonia C Gray, Robert Elvin Hardy Gray and Edmund Winston Gray. Julia died on March 7, 1900, in Lawrence County, Alabama, at the age of 56, and was buried in Franklin County, Alabama.

Sister Julia A. GRAY, nee JARMAN, was born January 14th, 1844 in Lawrence county, Alabama. She was married to D.W. BRADFORD in the year 1860, being 16 years old at that time. The result of that marriage was two sons. Her husband died in the year 1869, and five years later she married W.S. GRAY, of Colbert county, Alabama. The result of the second marriage was two sons and one daughter. She departed this life on March 7th, 1900. She leaves a broken hearted husband and five children to mourn their loss.
