Biography

Richard Jarman was an Assisted Immigrant to New South Wales.

Richard Henry was born about 1825 in Ramsgate, Kent, England[1][2][3] and baptised on the 8th May 1825 at St. Laurence, Ramsgate, Kent, England, the son of Richard Jarman (stone mason) and Mary Jarman of Ramsgate[4].

Richard Henry married Mary Rosa Lomes on the 15th June 1845 at St. George, Ramsgate, Kent, England. Richard Henry Jarman, bachelor, cordwainer of Ramsgate, son of Richard Jarman {stone mason) and Mary Rosa Lomes, spinster of Ramsgate, daughter of Edward Lomes (Fisherman). Witnessed by Fanny Shapley and Richard Jarman[5]

Richard's wife Mary Rosa died in 1895[7] and Richard remarried to widow Ann Elizabeth Windley in 1897 in Lincolnshire, England[8]

Richard Jarman passed away aged 81 years in 1904[9].
