"Daniel was naturalized March 11, 1700 (Agnew's "Protestant Exiles from France", p. 71, where his name is spelled Daniel Jaudin.)" [1]
The following was copied from the Register of the French Episcopal chapel, Bristol by J Henry Lea Esq .
This day, Monday the 20th of May 1700 in this Church, by the Rev. Descairac, its pastor, the marriage was solemnized between Pierre Jaudon of Soubise, a son of Daniel Jaudon, formerly residing at Soubise aforesaid where he was a salt-maker and now a sergette-maker in this City , and of his first wife, his father and mother, of the one part, and Ann Conte of St Surin de Montagne in Saintonge, a daughter of Barthelmy Conte residing at St Surin aforesaid and of his wife Olimpe Drillon, her father and mother, of the other part.
The said bridegroom was assisted by his father the said Daniel Jaudon, his second wife and Mr Pierre Lucas, also residing in this city, a sergette-maker; and the said bride by Mr Etienne Peloquibn Junior, a citizen and merchant of this city and his wife suzanna Peloquin.
