Names
Catherine was baptized as Marie Catherine Jean.[1] By the time of her death and burial, she was using the surname Barré[2] as were her other siblings and her father at that time.
Birth and Baptism
Marie Catherine, daughter of Louis-Jean Barre and Marie Josephe Bessette, was born 10 Sep 1737 and baptized at Chambly.[1] Her godparents were Joseph Laforce and Louise Barsalou (sp?).[1]
Marriage
Catherine Jean, daughter of Louis Jean dit Barré and his deceased wife Marie Josette Bessett, married Joseph Paquet, son of Noel Paquet and Marguerite Baudet, on 17 Jan 1757 at Chambly.[3]
Death and Burial
Catherine Barré, wife of Joseph Paquet, died 11 Aug 1758 and was buried in the parish cemetery at Chambly.[2]
